There have been sporadic reports of WhatsApp integration with Google Business Profiles.
Please ensure that you follow these steps in order to use message assets. The instructions for setting up message assets are covered in the section below.
Configure the WhatsApp for Business platform or app to include a phone number for the message asset.
Choose your WhatsApp number’s country in the Google Ads message assets configuration, then provide an active WhatsApp Business number in the “WhatsApp phone number input” box.
Enter a message that complies with Google Ads regulations under “Starter message.”
Verify that WhatsApp is not mentioned in any of your headlines. If you use WhatsApp in your headline, people may click through to your website.
